Fundraising/Administration Intern
12-month post from September 2010

To provide administrative support across THREE DEPARTMENTS of the Trust: Head Office, Fundraising and the New Hanbury Project (our Training and Skills Centre). In each case the successful candidate will work as part of a small, dedicated team.
Essential: a strong interest in business and administrative work, along with excellent spoken and written English (graduate level or equivalent). Good inter-personal skills, high levels of organisation, along with adaptability and a “can-do” attitude. An interest in fundraising and events management would be an advantage.
This is a special opportunity for the right person to gain working experience in General Administration as well as in the Charity Sector. The Spitalfields Crypt Trust has worked in this sector for forty-five years, forging strong links with other Charities working in this field and also with a number of City Companies which support our work.
The post is offered as part of a one-year programme which we run for young adults (normally 18 to 25 years of age. However age is NOT a barrier to application - so if you are interested PLEASE apply!!). The post is UNsalaried, with accommodation + weekly pocket money offered. This appointment runs from September 2010 until August 2011.
