How your donations are used

By donating to SCT you’ll be making a vital difference to the lives of homeless men and women in East London.

Your support means that we can continue to offer our rehabilitation and training programmes to people who need to turn their lives around, giving them the skills and confidence to get back on track.

Our service users tell us that our services really are a lifeline, guiding them from a life on the streets, to a future where they can get a good job and sustain an independent life.

“I was coming to the end of my 12 steps programme and I was starting to get jittery. You start thinking, where am I going to go? What am I going to do? The term at New Hanbury was a few weeks away so I would have had a gap to fill, but SCT  let me stay until term started. It meant I had such a smooth transition in my recovery which otherwise would have been a big void. I don’t know what would have happened if I was left to my own devices during that period.”

Katie, New Hanbury Project student (not her real name).
