Help SCT provide survival kits for rough sleepers

This winter, we want to provide survival kits packed with 12 essential items that will keep homeless people warm and protected against the bitter weather.

We know that the homelessness crisis is deepening, with more people living on the streets across the country.

Over 440 people died homeless between October 2017 and October 2018. Many of these deaths took place during the cold weather – with January being the deadliest month, in which about 33 people died.

SCT has been helping the homeless and those with drug or alcohol addictions in East London for over 50 years. Our drop-in service alone sees over 500 homeless people a year. And we want to help them live through this winter. But we can’t do it alone, we need your help.

Could you provide the cost of sleeping bag or gloves for someone this winter?

Help us by going to our donation page.

You can also write a message of hope to keep people’s spirits up by emailing Ben with your note.

Please spread the word on social media. We want to help as many as possible #survivethewinter so please share far and wide!
