Welcome to our new Board members

A very warm welcome to our three newest Board members, Stuart Noble, a fundraiser with the Bible Society, Corin Pilling from Livability, and Matthew Ubogagu, a financial professional.

Stuart has volunteered and worked in the charity sector for over 20 years and is passionate about raising money for great causes.

He said:

'I joined the Board because of SCT’s vision to help the most vulnerable. The wide range of support services and social enterprises make for a fascinating mix and I'm looking forward to supporting the commitment and passion of SCT's staff.'

Corin leads Livability's community engagement work. He has been involved with homelessness services for over 20 years, working across the sector and specialising in developing employment and training programmes. He said:

'As somebody who has long been involved in trying to help homeless people unlock their potential what drew me to SCT is an holistic approach to recovery. I think SCT's wisdom is in recognising that multi-layered problems faced by those who are homeless and substance- dependent, requires a variety of interventions which are deeply relational at heart.

Matthew is a financial professional with Securities Pricing experience within Investment Management. He chairs the Referral Order Panels for the Youth Offending Team at Woolwich Council and sits in Adult and Family Courts as a Magistrate for the London South Eastern Region. He said:

“I was attracted to SCT by its wholistic approach to recovery and being part of a board entrusted with supporting SCT's good work and its growth.”

We look forward to working with our new Board and hearing their fresh ideas.

We are also seeking a new Trustee with press, marketing and communications expertise
