We run three supported houses across London for men who are successfully managing to sustain an addiction recovery programme. From these houses, residents continue their rehabilitation from substances such as drugs or alcohol in more independent surroundings.
"I see it as a platform to work from, to get myself back into normal life."Bridge House resident.
Find out more about our supported houses by contacting the Manager, Nancy Akwani on 020 7613 3055 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
All residents in our supported houses will have completed the first and second stage recovery programmes for their addictions at our residential recovery hostel, Acorn House. Our supported houses provide a stepping stone between Acorn House and full independent living.
During the average stay of two to four years, an individual Support Plan is developed with our Support Workers, which incorporates elements of therapy, employment training, courses, hobbies and leisure activities.
Residents are also encouraged to build constructive support networks outside of the houses, such as self-help groups and aftercare groups.
We offer the following services at our supported houses:
- one to one key work session
- peer support
- personal development and training courses at the New Hanbury Project
- work experience opportunities with Restoration Station and Paper & Cup, our social enterprises
- researching professional and technical courses
- exploring opportunities for volunteering
- employment support

- Rourke, a 9 bed house in Enfield
"The atmosphere in the houses are very homely. All credit to the guys that live in them, they've really made the houses their homes."Ray, SCT keyworker
