The Spitalfields Crypt Trust provides a range of high-quality support, rehabilitation and training services for vulnerable and homeless adults and those struggling with addiction to drugs or alcohol.

Together, our projects form a 'complete recovery pathway' from our drop-in centre through to our back-to-work employment scheme. To learn more about our individual projects please browse the links below.

Shoreditch Community Project (Drop-in centre)
Often the first point of call - provides homeless and isolated members of the community wth advice, practical support and information

Acorn House (Recovery support centre)
A sixteen-bed hostel that specialises in the recovery and rehabilitation of alcoholic men and drug users who have become homeless

Bridge House & Kingshill (Supported houses)
Provide accommodation with greater independence for men who have successfully completed a primary treatment programme

New Hanbury Project (Personal development and training centre)
Helps people build up their self-confidence, learn useful and practical life skills and become involved in voluntary or paid work

YourTime (Back-to-work scheme)
Combines the rehabilitation and training aspects of our other projects with practical work experience

Aftercare (Evening support groups)
Run in partnership with Hackney DAAT and led by service users to provide additional recovery support

“We want to increase opportunities for people moving away from rough sleeping to take part in activities that give hope, build skills, increase confidence and self-esteem, and above all strengthen positive relationships”.
