Our art classes include lessons in painting and drawing as well as the opportunity to become involved in creative projects. We have held local exhibitions where students have had the opportunity to show their work and several students have even sold paintings. A few students were involved in a project at the Tate Modern and displayed their artwork at a temporary exhibition. Interacting with the local community and knowing that they are able to produce something worthwhile which others appreciate has an extraordinary impact on their self esteem, confidence and social skills.

Last year students produced fantastic artwork with a Christmas theme and we used this for our charity Christmas cards.
